  • News from Year 6

    Sat 28 Sep 2019

We were chosen to go to a maths workshop at Greswold school. There were 10 other schools there too.

We aspired to work with children from different schools and to achieve our full potential. It was great fun working as a team and representing our school. We took part in lots of activities like finding the most complicated way to make 182 using addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

We learned not to take the easy way out! We tried our best and challenged ourselves to be the best that we can be.

  • School Council Election Campaign

    Sun 22 Sep 2019

Valley are running an electoral campaign to elect brilliant school councillors to voice our children's views as part of this important pupil leadership team.

Do you have great listening skills?

Do you want to take an active part in school decision making?

Can you learn how to present a reasoned argument?

Do you want yours and others voices heard?

If the answer is yes, why not run for School Council?

One of our British Values is Democracy. We will have a democratic vote in order to elect the school councillor for each class. Every child will be asked to take part in a secret ballot placing their vote into the ballot box. The votes will then be counted and verified and the winning pupil leader announced.

If you would like to be considered as a school councillor, you need to complete a poster and present this to your class. Remember to be persuaded so that lots of people vote for you!

See our School Council Page for Further Details.
