Cognition and Learning:
Support for learning difficulties may be required for children who learn at a slower pace than their peers, even with appropriate differentiation. Learning difficulties cover a range of needs, including moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD). Specific learning difficulties (SpLD) affect one of more specific aspects of learning. This encompasses a range of conditions such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. This also includes Dyspraxia (see physical and sensory section).
