Reading for pleasure is crucial and we strive to ensure our schools and homes are places where you, our children read, enjoy reading and discuss texts with confidence and answer questions about them with clarity.
These are just a few recommended reads you may like to choose from… but there are lots more out there so choose something that interests you and helps you develop your learning.
This resource will help your adult to help you by asking different questions and encouraging you to think about your Inference, Prediction, Retrieval, Summarising and Vocabulary skills.
Ask whoever you choose to read with to use this to challenge you regarding the text. You could then think of some similar questions to challenge them in return and enjoy helping each other enjoy reading.
