In our English, we have been retelling each other stories from The Lion and the Unicorn anthology.

In our Reading skills sessions, we have been reading non-fiction and poetry books.

In English, we have been using role-play and freeze framing to explore the thoughts and feelings of the characters in 'Jasmine's Garden'

We have been getting ‘hands on’ in maths by using concrete resources (counters, cubes and Base Ten) to explore factor pairs.

This week, we have been using our powers of persuasion to write letters. We think we presented some very convincing points!

In our Science topic 'sound', we have been finding out about high and low pitch using the guitars.

We have been learning how to use an apostrophe for possession - which is one of our English targets.

In our dance lessons, we have been joining different poses, shapes, movements and jumps to really shake it!

Spring Term 1 WOW day - Gifted Gaudi

We had a fantastic day finding out about the Spanish architect, Gaudi. We used our reading skills and the iPads to research the life of Gaudi. Then we created stain glass windows like those found in Sagrada Familia. We also learnt some Spanish phrases and numbers.

We enjoyed our 'Fitmas' actvities!

Real life Maths - We are the LKS2 'Dragon's Den' winners! Visit our Facebook page to vote for your favourite one from each phase.

In our Art lesson this week, we have been looking at different types of landscape painting techniques and deciding which were most effective. We then choose the style we liked the most and created a landscape of our 'Anywhere Island'

In PE, we have been trying to improve our balance and control.

Autumn Term 2 - WOW day. We started our 'Anywhere Island' topic by being trapped on a mysterious Island! We learnt to build dens and make survival snacks.
