In Year 6, we aim to develop young learner with resilience, resourcefulness and independence.
Staff
In Year 6, the teachers are Mrs O’Boyle, Miss Stevens and Miss Court.
Curriculum Topics
In year 6, we approach these topics in blocks. This allows for the children to develop a deeper understanding and knowledge of these subject areas. The following learning blocks are:

PE
Year 6 have PE on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Please ensure that PE kits are in school every day.
Homework
Children are issued with English and Maths homework every Thursday, which can be completed either on the sheets provided or in their homework books.
Home Reading books will be changed once a week.
Spellings are given on a weekly bases and differentiated for each English set.
