Friendship Ambassadors

The Friendship ambassadors are children who have a passion for helping and supporting others and have volunteered to help the children at Valley to never be without a friend. They play an active role in supporting children who are lonely on the playground. They also help to raise awareness of bullying and they come up with new ideas on how to promote the Anti-bullying message at Valley.

Their main responsibilities include:

  • Support children on the playground
  • Be a good role model for others
  •  Support children in your class who need a friend
  • Lead an assembly about Friendship
  • Take part in virtual meetings to make decisions.
  • Judge Anti-bullying day competition

Anti-Bullying Day Assembly 2023

This year, we decided to have a family Anti-bullying day assembly. We explained to the parents what bullying was and how we could stop it. We also used drama and singing to promote anti-bullying.

Our Friendship Ambassador's work to celebrate so far...

We have worked hard to create an assembly for Anti-Bullying day. We planned the theme, created videos and led the Assembly too. We also gave out special Reach Out stickers to those showing kindness on the playground.

Why not take a look at our Assembly PowerPoint slides. You can watch the videos we have recorded below too.

Anti-bullying day 2021 - Stamp it out and be kind!

The Friendship Ambassadors helped to plan and deliver our anti-bullying day assembly this year. They chose the theme, planned and recorded videos to show us how to be kind. The KS1 Friendship Ambassadors taught the whole school the 'Stamp it out' song.

The whole school really enjoyed wearing odd socks to raise awareness. They have taken part in activities to learn about being kind and how to deal with bullying.
