Digital Ambassadors

The digital ambassadors are children who have a love for technology and have volunteered to help the staff and children at Valley make the most of their learning through technology. They play an active role in supporting lessons where laptops/iPads are required, and they come up with new ideas on how to promote the use of technology across Valley.

Their main responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and returning iPads/laptops for lessons
  • Hand out and collect iPads/laptops from the class, ensuring they are put back on charge
  • Take part in virtual meetings to make decisions
  • Helping other children with logging in
  • Leading digital class assemblies

Safer Internet Day Competition

Congratulations to our Online Safety competition winners Charlie and Noah!

The Digital Ambassadors led the Safer Internet Day assembly this year, teaching the other children how to stay safe online.

Safer Internet Day 2023

To celebrate Safer Internet Day 2023, we led an assembly to remind everybody about the SMART online safety rules. We encouraged everyone to talk to a grown up about online safety. We decided to hold a competition to promote online safety at Valley. Read our Pupil Leadership Newsletter below to find out more...

Digital Ambassador's Newsletter

The children have been learning to keep themselves safe online and how to be kind online during Safer Internet Day 2022. We have attached some information and parents guides to support parents in reinforcing this message at home. This and other useful information is available on the E-safety page.

The digital ambassadors have also created a video to give children their top ten e-safety tips, which is available in the video resource section of the school website https://valley-primary.primarysite.media/media/staying-safe-online

This year, we had a E-Competition for the best E-safety advice. Our winner was Hilary from year 5. You can view her amazing animation here https://valley-primary.primarysite.media/media/e-safety-winner

The Digital Ambassadors are excited to launch our new interactive floors!
