As part of World Book Day, Year 1 looked at the author, Mark Sperring. We read a variety of his books and completed activities around each one. The children enjoyed creating their own tooth fairy and also turning themselves into a knight by making helmets and shields. We finished the day by discussing which of his stories we had enjoyed the most and explaining why. A great day was had by all.
