We have been diving into The Adventures of Odysseus, exploring the key features of playscripts—from stage directions and characterisation to dialogue that drives the action forward. After analysing the features of a playscript, we put our learning into practice by creating our own dramatic versions of the exciting chapter The Sack of Winds. We worked collaboratively to rehearse and perform the scenes, showcasing impressive creativity, confidence, and a real understanding of the text. It’s been a fantastic blend of annotating, reading and performance!
