In Reception this week, we have been practising our subitising skills. Subitising means using our ‘fast eyes’ to recognise how many objects we can see without counting them.

We worked together in pairs to sort different images and practised quickly recognising groups of 1, 2 and 3. We had lots of fun developing our mathematical thinking and becoming more confident with our ‘fast eyes’!
