As part of their continued work on castles, Bell 1 worked collaboratively this week to write down the purpose of medieval castles. They thought about defence, wealth, power and homes. The children could choose how to display their work and enjoyed presenting their finished pieces to the rest of the class. It is clear that the children have a good understanding of why castles were built.
