We had an exciting Real-Life Maths Day where we were challenged to design our very own theme parks using an imaginary budget of £1,000,000 (unfortunately!). We carefully planned our rides and attractions, making sure every choice kept them within budget. The children also had to think mathematically about space, measuring areas in cm² to see if their designs would actually fit. It was a brilliant mix of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork—and most importantly, we had lots of fun!
