As part of our "I Have a Dream" topic, we have been creating portraits of inspirational Black people, using calligraphy in the vibrant, expressive style of artist Screen Prince. Combining powerful words with bold visual art, each piece celebrates the legacy and impact of individuals that we have been learning about this term, while giving pupils the opportunity to reflect on what makes someone truly inspirational. The results are fantastic, and we are so proud of how hard we have worked on these.  We can’t wait to showcase them to our parents and carers during of Express day.
