This week, we explored mathematical problem-solving through a teddy bear picnic activity. We worked hard to share food equally between the bears, developing our understanding of division and fair sharing. When there was food left over that could not be shared equally, we used our problem-solving skills to decide what to do with the extras. We thoroughly enjoyed extending our learning by playing a related game on the iPads, where we continued to practise these important mathematical concepts in a fun and engaging way.
