On Tuesday, Year 1 kicked off their new topic, ‘North, South, East, West’ with an exciting field trip to Elmdon Park! While exploring the park, the children followed a winding route and put their new vocabulary to work using directional and locational language. Throughout their walk, the children actively identified both human and physical features, putting their geography skills into practice. The children thoroughly enjoyed their adventure and are incredibly excited to dive deeper into their new topic!
