In Year 5 Art, the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own wire poppy sculptures inspired by Nina Lazarou. They explored shaping and manipulating wire with increasing confidence, showing creativity and individuality in their final pieces. This project provided a great opportunity to develop Building Learning Power, as the children demonstrated impressive resilience and perseverance when working with a challenging material. They showed determination to refine their designs, and were incredibly proud of their finished sculptures.
